Been in Singapore 2 years, 985, 4K+.

1st time: S Pass, Malaysian, Diploma, worked in Singapore 10 years, shipyard company, salary 2500+. Also sponsored wife and infant child. Wife on WP, admin work, salary 2200+. Applied end of 2016, rejected Oct 2017, very disappointed. 2nd time: Applied again end of 2018, approved May 2019! In between, husband studied part-time degree, wife studied part-time diploma, both got salary increases, wife also got S Pass.

Whole family application, couple + 1 son + 1 daughter, exactly 6 years in Singapore when approved. Male main applicant 8K/month, corporate legal, prestigious Chinese university bachelor's, no local master's. Wife reported as housewife, bachelor's from a Chinese university that just missed 211/985 cutoff, in political science/law.
