Rejected Singapore PR Cases - Learn from Failed Applications

985 bachelor's from China, NTU PhD, just submitted thesis. MNC, 4.5K/month, EP holder, applied after 5 months of work. Rejected in 3.5 months—pretty much instantly rejected I guess. Seems I need to wait until I get my degree first.

China PhD, salary 7k. 1st application rejected, 1st appeal also rejected.

Family application: husband with wife and one child. China PhD, been in Singapore 1.5 years, base salary 8000. Wife is NTU PhD student. Child 1.5 years old, attending kindergarten in Singapore. Expected it would unfortunately fail... and it did.

Appealed, status changed to pending on 1 Feb, rejected again on 3 Apr. Including appeal, applied 4 times total. Now decided to pack up and return to China.

Additional info: 28 years old, not an only child, has a brother 8 years older staying with parents back home.

Chinese, been in Singapore 9 years. Was a nurse for 3 years, salary $2,000, rejected after 4 months pending. Changed jobs immediately after rejection, moved to health-related IT. Salary now $2,400. This application pending 5 months, rejected again. Nurse friends got approved on their 1st, 2nd, and 4th attempts respectively. Studied Australian nursing bachelor's.
