25, 3rd application. Conditions unchanged from last time except switched from EP to SP. Malaysian degree, Software Engineer title. Monthly salary 4000.

Exactly 2 years in Singapore when applied. Had applied once at just over 1 year — rejected after 8 months. Age not advantageous, 45+. 985 bachelor's from China + overseas master's QS top 20. Salary above 90th percentile. Applied with full family, 2 DP. Approved in under 7 months, formalities already completed.

Chinese, female, single application, non-elite tier-1 Chinese university, born in '90s, IT monthly salary under 10k. First time: applied after paying taxes once, rejected. Appealed with salary increase notice, rejected again. Second time: applied on new system after paying taxes twice, approved in July ✅. After submitting supplementary documents, the 4 lines disappeared — everything gone. What's happening???? Born 1972, ITE + private diploma, worked 20 years in electronics factory. First application. May 10 got 4 lines, May 16 asked to supplement family members' CVs. 9+ months now, still waiting...

Applied with wife and son — all Chinese nationals on DP. Wife is 37 and not working. Also submitted citizen recommendation letters. Rejected for the 3rd time.

NUS postdoc, holding SP at supervisor's company.

30+, single female, 211 bachelor's + master's from China. No local degree, no volunteer work. Base salary under 5 digits. 4 years in Singapore. Rejected after 8 months on first application, immediately reapplied within 1 month. Only change was a 3% salary increase. Never asked to submit any supplementary documents.

Chinese couple, spent 3 years in Hong Kong, came to Singapore Oct 2021. EP+SP, 32, finance industry, both master's degrees, wife has local master's. First application Aug 2023 rejected, appeal waited 7 months and rejected. Did dozens of hours of volunteer work in between. This is effectively the 2nd application, waited 7+ months and rejected again. No government employees in family, can't figure out what the issue is.

Family application, both from top 985 universities. Husband doing joint-supervised PhD, got EP in 2021, hasn't graduated yet. Wife completed Singapore master's in 2020, working at MNC for nearly 3 years. Married 2022, new family member early 2025. Whole family application, hoping for good luck. Second application early 2025, asked to supplement salary documents etc. in early May, received approval SMS by end of month. Thanks to the community, wishing everyone a smooth application!
