IT engineer family, husband 211 bachelor's, wife 985 bachelor's, 1EP+3DP, came to Singapore Feb 2023, monthly salary 12k, both over 40. One son and one daughter, both in government schools at time of application. Applied Aug 2024, rejected after 11 months. Immediately reapplied with essentially the same documents, approved after 9 months. No recommendation letters, donations, volunteer work, insurance, or agent — just wrote and uploaded a cover letter. Chinese national, main applicant 40+, top-4 Chinese university bachelor's + master's, ONE Pass, been in Singapore 3 years, Fortune 500 finance company. DP wife has regular Chinese bachelor's, holds LOC, finance industry, salary at Singapore average level — submitted salary increase proof before application. Daughter attending private kindergarten in Singapore, been here 2 years. Submitted main applicant's mother's CV as supplement in late Aug 2025, first application. Also made monthly fixed donations, occasional donations at child's school, wife bought a Singapore critical illness insurance policy, did volunteer work once. But feel these factors weren't the main influence. Hope this helps everyone.

Changed jobs Aug 2025 to EP with base 12K. Hoping to get approved.

Husband has been PR for 2+ years. I'm 29, Hong Kong bachelor's + master's, salary at industry median. First time he sponsored my application via EP shortly after arriving in Singapore — rejected. Second application this May after completing tax filing, approved in 4 months.
